Let's start off with a sim of mine, Ralph Malone who is an undercover agent in the Police career. He is an old coworker with another one of my sims I play in Twinbrook, Renee, who I made a P.I. later. Since she got married with a Chinese guy and had a daughter, I switched her back to the police profession since the P.I. job was making their household too busy. But anyways...
Ralph Malone is sort of a "heartbreaker", although most of that stuff is pre-Generations so he doesn't have a reputation (thankfully!), but he's currently 'courting' Cho Sunwhun, who is a firefighter.
Anyways, here is Ralph leaving work for the day in another one of his undercover disguises that looks like the mayor or something.
Even though his motorcycle is parked in the parking lot of the police station, he decides to run home.
Ralph: "Gotta burn the calories from that doughnut I had 30 minutes ago!"
When he gets home, I try to invite his girlfriend Cho over, but of course she replies to call back in 11 hours. It's 2pm, Cho. You want me to call you at 2 in the morning? Ralph certainly doesn't, even if he works as an undercover agent. I decide to have him run over to the fire station, where perhaps he can coax her out of work for the night.
And outside the house is the omnipresent creepy ice cream truck. Seriously, this whole ice cream truck must be some kind of secret espionage thing. That, or the ice cream man/woman has a huge stalker crush on Ralph.
I gotta say the fire station in Twinbrook is really neat. I should have more firefighter sims.
I love how Ralph walks up the stairs, as if to deliberately use the pole to make an epic entrance.
Unfortunately for him, Cho is already upstairs making drinks.
Ralph: I brought these red roses for you.
Cho: OMG I LOVE the color red! (Actually, her favorite color is purple.)
Ralph then asks her out, but she turns him down snarkily since she still has to work. Negative memory alert - I can always tell my sims are *traumatized* when you hear that weird sound that negative memories make.
But I'm impatient, so I decided to have him invite her over to his house in an attempt to move them in together, and make it easier to plan dates for them. Somehow, this works.
Ralph: So, ever thought about getting married?
Cho: Nah, I'd like to just have fun right now.
Ralph: Are you kidding?? Me too!
How lucky that they both have the Commitment Issues trait. Regardless, I'm getting them married and they are gonna have children whether they like it or not.
Since they had more money, I figured I would move Ralph out of his glorified trailer into a nicer home. However, this is what I see in neighborhood view:
Nothing except unaffordable houses. Isn't this supposed to be a recession?! But anyways, Ralph goes on to tell Cho a "secret" of his...
So, I have them go on a date to the Grind nightclub, which is exactly the same as the one in Bridgeport, only located in the rusty old abandoned warehouse area in Twinbrook. Now here is one of the reasons why I'm really starting to love Twinbrook:
An elderly man shaking it on the bar counter in tight pants. Does it get any better?
Here's what Cho's everyday wear looks like. Definitely appropriate for a dance party.
I was curious about the second everyday wear she had, so I changed her into that. Not so much...
There's a few other people dancing around. Surprisingly the nightclub IS a hotspot.
And of course you have another townie with an unusual name like Penny Pincher or Tennis Racket or whatever. (Kudos to the folks who came up with the names for sims in Twinbrook.) She's just doing her usual insane trait thing - nearly choking herself to death in the corner.
Cho orders a KTHXBYE, which is one of those drinks that makes sims "go wild" (a.k.a. get plastered)
She starts flirting with her boyfriend with the "I'm a firefighter" interaction.
Ralph: OMG, YOU'RE A FIREFIGHTER? I would never have guessed! (I really get the feeling this should be sarcastic, considering Cho is drunk, I mean "wild")
This picture certainly makes her look quite "wild".
Then of course a creepy old guy walks buy enjoying the fact that there's a couple making out on the dancefloor.
I decided to have them both go back home after 2.am... the same time Ralph would have had to call Cho just to go out on a date! For some reason there's a weird white stereo stuck outside the lot for no apparent reason. I have no idea how it got there.
Okay, I'm telling you, the elders in Twinbrook are totally rad. See this guy here? I really need to download a Ramones t-shirt for elders and ripped jeans just to complete his look.
